The instructors are top-notch, terrific dancers and great teachers with a lot of patience. They make it fun for everyone no matter the age. There are parties and dances every week where you get to practice what you've learned at your lessons.
Also fun activities like wine tasting and dance cruises.

Very friendly and professional stuff. Safe place for ladies my age (58) to go and train dancing as a sport. I am not gym person, but I love dancing. I take lessons and compete there almost 7 years and I have a lot of friends there in studio.

Fantastic instructors, flexible class schedules and all around great group of people. Knowledgeable and upbeat studio personnel and warm, friendly students of all ages who simply love to dance! Clearly the most supportive atmosphere to learn those moves you've always wanted to do at its best.

It is the friendliest most fun place to dance I have ever gone to. From the instructors to the students. I have made more friends here than anywhere else. They make learning to dance a lot of fun

After shopping around I found that the customer service, level of dance instruction and overall energy of the studio really impressed me. I got a very personal connection with the staff as well as the other students! My first four lessons were so fun and I got to attend all the group classes I wanted!

I have been taking dance lessons at the San Diego studio for almost 3 years. The experience has added a wonderful dimension of joy to my life. Like its sister studio in Oceanside, the Fred Astaire San Diego studio is an amazing place to learn to dance. The students are warm and friendly. This is an attitide of warmth and courtesy which clearly starts with the management and instructors and is unmatched at other studios in the county. I am about as uncomfortably selfconscious as you can be and survive adolescence, and I love dancing at this studio. I spend hours there every week, but still the end of my lesson always comes to soon. And the group classes are both delightfully fun and effective learning opportunities. The teachers are highly skilled and creative in their teaching methods. If the student does not "get it" with the first try, they have many other ways to try again. The place is filled with warmth, smiles and laughter. The frequent studio events are a great chance to socialize and to celebrate the wonderful opportunity we all have to learn this joyous and graceful activity. If you have always wanted to learn to dance, this is the place to do it, and what are you waiting for, really? If you pick up the phone and call, or just walk in, you will be glad you did.

I've taken a lot of dance lessons and have been dancing for a few years, Fred Astaire in Oceanside and San Diego are the best dance studios I have ever attended. I started at the Fred Astaire in San Diego but because Fred Astaire is a franchise I have been able to attend the studio in Oceanside as well as I travel between the two areas often. I have learned a variety of dances and greatly enjoy being able to go out socially dancing when ever I want. I mostly frequent latin dance clubs where I can salsa, cha-cha, merengue, samba, rumba, and know how to lead anyone I dance with and have a good time. On nights when there is no latin dancing I go either country western, swing or tango dancing. I love that I now have a social life and it is all thanks to Fred Astaire in Oceanside and San Diego.

Fred Astaires are the best dance studios

They have recently opened a studio in Oceanside which is great because I live in Oceanside and work in San Diego. I love being able to go to both studios, they have the best teachers who are all very customer service oriented. I go to weddings and dance parties with my wife and we always stand out and get noticed. I love my lessons and would recomend the studios to everyone.
